Cozy place, set in a really comfy building with a beautiful view in the conservatory overlooking the mill. the breakfast was delightful, and they even gave us extra toast, which was a nice surprise! 🌟

Location not far from the Coast to Coast cycle route, Consett and the restaurant. Also, in the area working. Quick check-in, good-sized and huge rooms by the bedroom.

The staff were wonderfully friendly and amiable. the location was lovely - just walking distance from everywhere I wanted to go. - In general, the service was great.

The deluxe queen room was reasonably large with a comfy bed. the hotel is in an amazing and brilliant location right next to a tranquil valley. - Ducks roam freely in the picturesque area surrounding the hotel. - There is a good restaurant and pub nearby.

It also was in the conservatory overlooking the mill.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, with all the basic amenities you could need. I particularly loved the spaciousness of my room, along with the updated bathroom and the extra touch of a comfy bed.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Old Mill in Castleside during the winter. the staff were efficient and friendly. the room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a large hand basin. the hotel is conveniently located near the coast. the food was delicious with a variety of meals to choose from.

We stayed in a room in the old wing of this country hotel. the decor was traditional and we loved the exposed beams. the bathroom lacked modern facilities but was clean and functional. the location is picturesque, with a stream outside and beautiful views from the conservatory. We enjoyed a peaceful weekend in March with plenty of countryside walks to take in.
